Maypole Noseweight Indicator Gauge

Caravan and trailer nose weight indicator gauge to accurately measure the nose weight (downward force) onto the towball of your laden caravan or trailer to ensure it is within the safe and legal limits set by your vehicle manufacturer. The maximum nose weight is indicated on a type approved towbar as the 'S-Value' - i.e. "S: 80kg" To use, ensure that the caravan/trailer is on firm level ground with the handbrake applied supported by the jockey wheel, with corner steadies retracted. Place the nose weight indicator gauge under the hitch and slowly retract the jockey wheel to obtain a reading.
